It’s only been a couple months since I’ve launched this blog but I’ve been overwhelmed by the lessons I’ve learned and support I’ve gotten from all (3) of my readers, you know who you are! *drake vc* Since I’ve started this platform, I’ve been able to share the most creative parts of my life which has been great!
However, today I wanted to talk about what Renaissance means to me. The name came to me when I was deciding what my blog would be about. I wanted it to be a space free of boundaries where I could post any and everything I could think of. I knew I was interested in covering multiple things, somewhat like a renaissance man. Then boom- I thought about it. The Renaissance.
So here I am, a self-declared renaissance woman sharing my “wisdom”.
This fall, we’re going all out with vibrant colors, including lipstick. Today I’ll be reviewing the NYX Suede Matte Lipstick in the color Spicy. This color is exactly what the name says it is… bright, pigmented, and hella spicy. I’ve always loved a good red especially to pair with monochromatic looks and this one was perfect. You can find this lipstick at your local NYX store or Ulta… I recommend you run and grab this ASAP.

I’m very excited to introduce my first Fit of the Day post! This has been a long time coming but good things come to those who wait, right? I am by no means an expert on fashion but I do love to express myself through clothes.
For this outfit, I wanted something comfy and warm so I decided to pair a joggers with a wool coat for maximum comfort. Outfit details are below!!
Bodysuit- Olive Ole
Joggers- Random store in Wheaton Mall, MD (forgot the name of it 😬)
My go-to eyeshadow look is this warm brown palette that is subtle enough for everyday use! For this look I used the same Morphe eyeshadow palette I reviewed last week because we’re in college and want to make the most out of the palettes we buy!! The key to the flawless application is blending!
For my next look, what would you guys like to see? Pink, purple, rainbow?? Let me know in the comments below.
Hey, my beautiful readers! It’s been a minute since the last time I posted. Since then, the weather has gotten 30 degrees colder, midterms are over (thank God), and new music has been released!! *dab emoji*
Before I jump into the list I wanted to give an overview of the new projects that have dropped this week. Surprisingly, my favorite is the new Usher x Zaytoven project which wasn’t terrible like I expected it to be! Worst album of the week definitely goes to Quavo whose first solo project fell more than flat.
But without further ado, here’s the top 10 songs I recommend this week:

- Drip Too Hard- Lil Baby & Gunna
- Do You Understand? (ft. Tory Lanez & Gunna)- Shy Glizzy
- Nothin (ft. Syd)- Kingdom
- ZeZe (ft. Travis Scott & Offset)- Kodak Black
- Mo Bamba- Sheck Wes
- Never Recover (ft. Drake)- Lil Baby & Gunna
- Wake Up in the Sky- Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars, & Kodak Black
- Workin Me- Quavo
Being an adventurous and open Howard student means straying from the quid pro quo *cough cough* El Rey.
My friends and I recently went to Sax for a birthday celebration and had a great time enjoying the belly dancers, acrobats, and fire throwers. The restaurant offers party deals which was perfect for the occasion. This restaurant is great for people who love entertainment when they eat and aren’t afraid of flames.
